One of the best times to see a gorgeous sunrise in North Florida is the wintertime. With the temperature of the water often warmer than the air, the colors of the sunrise is sometimes spectacular. Even with the time change and the days appearing to be shorter in the winter, there is still plenty of time to get up around 6:30, make your coffee and walk down to the beach.
In 2015, the sun will rise at 7:00am on Christmas day and set around 5:26pm, making your day 10 hours and 26 minutes long! The average temperature during that time of year is between 56-72 degrees. Either way, the warm sun during the day will make your beach walks very enjoyable.
